   Understanding Your Needs

Tombstone Media fully understands that often, the first step to getting your work or organisation noticed is by creating an identity, and distributing that identity through various promotional materials. These can range from small scale promotion such as business cards, leaflets and posters, right through to complete publications. Tombstone Media can offer all of these services and more.

For guidance, here is a list of the most common ready-to-print items we design for our clients:
  - Business Cards

  - CD Covers (front and back)
  - VHS and DVD Covers
  - Logos and other identity building media (can be made for online purposes also)
  - Publications (newspapers, fanzines, magazines etc.)

   Technologies

Any projects we undertaken are created using the most appropriate tools we have. To meet your needs, we use the following software:

  - QuarkXpress - provides excellent layout for designing publications and large documents
  - Adobe InDesign - offers similar features to Quark, but works more smoothly in conjunction with other software
  - Adobe Photoshop and Corel Paint Shop Pro - both allow for superb image manipulation

We also have several useful programs that allow us to design fun extras for print media, such as crosswords and wordsearches.

   Content

For items such as leaflets, where lots of text is required, you have the option to either provide your own text and specific images to be included (unless you wish for us to find royalty-free images for you), or alternatively we could produce the text and images for you based on guidelines you set in consultation and the brief. The fee for this will be discussed in accordance to the size of the materials you require.

If your needs require the collecting and creation of imagery by us, Tombstone Media works alongside photographer Gemma Allen, renowned for her experimental and macro (close-up) photography. Mrs Allen can provide any photography services you may need in conjunction with Tombstone Media for an affordable price, which can be agreed upon during consultation.

If you do supply your own content, we will proof read and sub-edit the text you provide, and seek your approval before giving you the finished product.

   Pricing

Charging by the job means there are no set prices that we charge. Basic leaflet and business card packages are available from as little as £50, and is dependent upon the dimensional size of the documents and the complexity of design. We believe the fairest method of co-operating with clients is to listen intently to your needs, then explain to you the most appropriate method possible for achieving your goal, and finally give you an initial quote for the project (that would obviously change should features wish to be added or removed during production).

For each ready-to-print format we offer, there are varying sizes and thus various prices would be applicable. Prices for print designs, as well as logo and identity creation, shall be decided upon entirely during consultation.

   Printing

If the need arises, Tombstone Media will search for good printing deals for your designs, at no additional charge. It would be our way of saying thanks for choosing us to fulfil your design needs. Once the list of good printing deals is compiled, we would send it to you and you would be free to choose where you print your services. We are not affiliated with any printers or copy shop agencies, and as such our recommendations are completely unbiased.

We realise that printing is expensive, and because we don't use our own print house, we aim to keep costs at a reasonable level, ensuring you are not overcharged for the service you receive.
