Working For You
Tombstone Media must iterate that during support operations for your home computer system, we may have to undertake work, in our opinion, is necessary to rectify the problem that a client has reported to us and has asked us to attempt to repair.
We understand that such operations may be foreign to some clients with limited computing knowledge, and as such Tombstone Media will not install any software or conduct any method to attempt repair without consent. If given permission, we will only attempt solutions that have either a) been successful for other customers during previous work, or b) used successfully on one of our own computers. Tombstone Media would accept responsibility for any incurred problems that were directly and entirely the result of our work. We cannot accept responsibility for problems incurred after our work has taken place, or during the work, if the problem is the result of another program already installed on your computer reacting negatively with the new system setup from our work.
Likewise, if the work involved is of a physical nature, including the installation, upgrading and/or removal of hardware, we may need access to the inside of your computer tower. We endeavour to ensure all physical setups we've directly accessed are in working order after our work has been completed, and won't rest until it's in working order for you. We cannot be held responsible for malfunctions of other items of hardware in your machine, even if they only malfunction at a time after we have accessed your computer.
Don't worry, we'll talk you through our work as we're doing it, to keep your mind at ease.
Fees
We operate a standard £15 per hour figure for attending to requests to visit another premises. Any work as part of the Home PC Support Service that requires additional external undertaking, such as the ordering and collection of hardware away from the premises where the work is being carried out, will be invoiced as a small isolated charge, independent of the hourly rate. We always endeavour to be honest in our pricing quotations.
