Anyone in the Leicester area that is a follower of rock music will know that the area has produced many budding artists over the last several years, perhaps most famous of all being local lads Kasabian, whose star has shone so brightly in the last few years, they even managed to snag a headline spot on Reading Festival's second stage, even topping the bill over rock mainstays Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
With this in mind, it seems appropriate that a spotlight be shone on the rock happenings in Leicester. Granted, the several venues in the city that host these relative unknowns prodding their way into rock stardom have their own websites, but they don't often paint the full picture. Likewise, a lot of the young upstart bands in the region produce their own websites, and while the intentions are good, the result is often unflattering. Borrowing a phrase from a famous toy shop advertisement, TM Noise attempts to bring all the information about Leicester's rock scene anyone would need, "all under one roof."
Here at TM Noise, we really want to promote the rock scene in Leicester, and so we are looking for any promising young bands in the Leicester area to get in contact with us so that we could feature them on the site, and drum up some buzz for both the bands and the venues in which they perform.
TM Noise is hoping to profile and expose the bands and venues in every way possible. We encourage you to check out all pages on the site, as some bands have even provided us with exclusive content, such as free MP3 downloads via our Band Jukeboxes (available on bands' subsite pages), discounted tickets to gigs, and even video footage shot exclusively for this website!
Any bands, or venues, not featured on the site at present that wish to be a part of TM Noise, then they should get in contact with us via the appropriate media via our CONTACT page.
NOTE: TM Noise does not promote the glorification of illegal drug use, and thus any material, be it lyrical or otherwise, that promotes illegal drug use will not be accepted, and as a result the band or venue sending us this material will not be considered for featuring on this website.
