Tombstone Media is a small organisation offering Home PC Support, as well as quality Web and Print Design Services, both for personal and commercial purposes, and is the official online home of Tombstone Media owner Nicholas J. Allen BA PGDip - a Media graduate and New Media Publishing postgraduate diplomate of De Montfort University - and his ever-growing portfolio of web and print design work compiled to date.
Tombstone Media (or TM for short), which is yet to be officially registered as a company - but will be very shortly - was formed when TM produced its first item, the Tombstone Monthly wrestling fanzine. The small publication attained readership throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland. The fanzine was put on hold to make way for other commitments.
Following on from this, Tombstone Media launched its first online endeavour, TM Wrestling, an online wrestling reference website, which houses the only entire WWE VHS/DVD title library - literally making our guide the only one in existence to date that tells British WWE video collectors every title they'd need to get hold of in order to complete their collection.
Tombstone Media's next project was TM Noise, a website aimed at providing a more focused port of call for people interested in Leicester's music scene. Unlike most websites already available that focused on merely giving directions to clubs and pubs offering music, TM Noise actually profiles the bands that play in such venues, and offers insight and multimedia features that can only be made as a result of actually meeting with the bands, venues and attending the shows. Currently housing unsigned bands from the Leicester area, 2007 will see the site expand to feature more established bands that visit the Leicester area, which will in turn broaden the interest in the Website.
In 2006, Tombstone Media owner Nicholas Allen was involved in a project with four other people to create a prototypical Leicestershire Entertainments Guide magazine, called OutThere, which Mr Allen ended up creating most of the design work for. The publication received rave reviews from two former newspaper editors now lecturing at De Montfort University.
This brings us to the present day, with several new projects in operation. First and foremost is the new Design Service from Tombstone Media, offering compelling print designs, ranging from business card designs all the way up to full-fledge publication services. As well as print-based offerings, Tombstone Media wishes to enhance its presence by offering web-based Services. We aim to provide clients with compelling websites, which would make great tools for persons wishing to display their work (for example, freelance photographers or self-employed people looking for additional channels of promotion) or for small businesses that wish to allow potential consumers to examine their business offerings and contact them.
As well as Design Services, Tombstone Media now offers comprehensive home PC support, with available assistance including software and hardware upgrades, broadband / e-mail / Internet setup, virus and spyware prevention, computing assistance, troubleshooting and more.
